Position Summary This is an International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 1245 represented classification, which has over 100 years of experience representing employees at PG&E. This job is subject to collective bargaining. A Materials Leadperson performs routine duties without direct supervision relating to ordering, receiving, disbursing and salvage of materials, including stocking shelves and bins, and preparing material for shipment. They will operate various equipment including, but not limited to forklift and other materials handling equipment and drive company vehicles up to 1-1/2 ton. A Material Leadsperson will perform computer input, operate office equipment, follow all safety rules and maintain a clean and safe work environment. Material Leadperson will assist in annual inventory and cycle counts at the facility. The individual will be responsible for reviewing job materials/kits, backorders, picking and staging material requests in stalls (e.g. EPCM, truck stock, etc.), Remote Lead will make deliveries to job sites for emergency support. They must manage electric and gas critical emergency, rapid response inventory and working stock. Receive stock orders, perform goods issues and place replenishment orders in SAP and perform other related warehouse management functions. PG&E is providing the hourly rate that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time ofthe jobposting. This position issubject to collectively bargained hourly wage rates and increases. The starting wage rate for thisposition is $55.36 per hour. This wage rate is specific to the locality of the job. The wage rate is based on multiple factors,including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications,experience, market value, geographiclocation, collective bargaining agreements, and internal equity. Responsibilities: -Maintain an absolute commitment to safety and work safely at all times -Stack and un-stack materials while working at various heights -Responsible for reviewing job materials/kits, backorders, picking and staging material requests in stalls. -Provide materials management, review job materials/kits, backorders, picking and staging material request in stalls (E.G., EPCM, Truck Stock, etc.). -Receive stock orders, perform goods issues and place replenishment orders in SAP. -Make deliveries to job sites for emergency support. -Manage electric and gas critical emergency, rapid response inventory and work stock. -Communicate frequently with Operations Supervisors, Work & Resource Coordinator, Field Engineer Tech and other department staff. -Assign and oversee the work assignments of Materials Handlers. -Work in environments including inclement weather and emergency conditions -Use computer to complete administrative tasks Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: -Must be at least 18 years of age -Must possess a High School diploma, GED or equivalent work experience -Must possess a valid California Driver’s License or ability to obtain by Day 1 -Ability to work in all types of weather extremes -Ability to drive safely in all weather and road conditions -Ability to work at varying level of heights -Ability to work flexible schedules, extended hours, nights, weekends, and/or overtime (scheduled or ad hoc) -Must be able to wear company provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) -Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds a minimum of one time a day Desired Qualifications: -Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office products – Excel, Outlook, Word -2+ year work experience in warehouse or shipping environment -Demonstrated experience using SAP -Class A driver’s license -Certified to operate a forklift -Previous/current PG&E experience -Previous/current Hiring Hall experience -Military experience -Graduate or currently enrolled in an approved PowerPathway® Program Pre-Employment Testing PG&E Employees:You must have qualified on all prerequisite tests prior to submitting an application, and all secondary tests prior to interviewing.
