If you cancel your trip for a covered reason, you must notify your travel supplier(s) within 72 hours of the cancellation. Not all plans include trip cancellation benefits. Please see the Certificate of Insurance/Policy for terms, conditions, and exclusions.

Allianz Travel Insurance plans can reimburse you for lost trip expenses if you must cancel your trip for one of the covered reasons named in your plan.

Here are some examples: The unexpected death, sickness or injury of you, a travelling companion, or a family member. You need to attend the birth of a family member's child. Travel carrier cannot get you to your destination due to a natural disaster or severe weather.
