Queen Mary, and her husband - who ascended to the throne on January 14, 2024 -have faced a difficult few months following rumours that King Frederik had an affair, which has been strenuously denied.
Mary, who is originally from Tasmania, renounced her Australian citizenship in 2004 when she married King Frederik X.
The mother-of-four's safety has also been brought into question after resurfaced footage saw her being hit by a mobility scooter while visiting Greenland last month.
The couple embraced a moment of relaxation of their recent holiday in Sardinia where the couple were spotted enjoying each other's company on the Italian island.
While indulging in a slow day at the beach,Mary looked stunning in an elegant patchwork one-piece, emphasising her gorgeous figure.
This year Frederik and Mary's marriage has been plagued with rumours since the King was pictured out in Madrid with Mexican socialite Genoveva Casanova last year.
