Great day at Kent Police Open Day on Saturday, showcasing the very best of what our officers and staff do. My eldest is still set on joining when he's old enough. Always one of our favourite days as a family.

Dear Readers,As we see turbulence and protesting, we in liberal democracies around the world have to consider the perspective of members of the security agencies that maintain order in our societies. It occurred to me that the police in our society, do not inherently want to be tools of oppression, but rather have a responsibility to protect the stability of our society. From this, I created this video to ask people how do we balance order and freedom?Regards,Steven Hanssen

Every day there are plenty of interactions with the police exactly like this one where the officer does let it roll off their back. The problem is they don’t go viral and don’t get the attention of the public because “nothing happened”. I agree with this post 100% and the officers that act in this manner need to be corrected in accordance with the severity of their actions. But what is the solution? Find these “nothing happened” interactions and Praise officers when they let these insults roll off their backs so they are encouraged to repeat the behavior. Use these positive interactions to train other officers with frequent micro learning. Share these moments with the public through social media or at community and city council meetings to change the perception of law enforcement. We are professionals and the narrative is in our favor, we just need to claim it.

I feel for the billions of people around the world who believe America has streets paved with gold and is the land of endless milk and honey. But the truth is much different. And the lies they are being told by media, open border, liberals and new world order types to incentivize them to make the dangerous journey to our southern border is not only disgusting but exactly that - lies. What’s worse is the motive behind the lies. It’s so immoral most of us cannot comprehend it. What I do know is it’s not only immoral, it’s unsustainable. Contrary to leftists and NWO types, simply printing more money is never the answer and the US economy cannot provide for the entire world and still be a powerful economic engine. Bottom line is the very people who are freely promising the American dream to all these illegal immigrants are the ones who are actively destroying it.
